About Me
Hello, I'm Peace Alima, a qualified therapist and counsellor registered with the BACP. I trained at The Minster Centre in London and I'm now completing an MA in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling, working towards registration with the UKCP.
I work with adults who are seeking to reconnect with themselves, perhaps feeling disconnected from who they are beneath the roles they carry or relationships, or searching for a deeper sense of belonging, both internally and in their lives.
My work is integrative and relational, which means I believe the connection between us is central to the therapeutic process. I draw on humanistic, existential, psychodynamic, and somatic ways of understanding. We work together in a way that honours what you bring and your individual history, rather than me applying the same approach to everyone.
I have experience working across mental health and social care settings, as well as in third-sector organisations and private practice. I'm also a qualified yoga teacher, and my work is informed by an embodied, nervous-system-aware understanding of emotional regulation. While sessions are talking-based, this awareness supports a sense of safety and steadiness within the therapeutic relationship.
Qualifications & Practice
I trained at The Minster Centre in London, where I completed my Diploma in Counselling. I'm now working towards an MA in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling for UKCP registration.

I also have clinical experience working with LGBTQIA+ clients, as well as individuals who experience diversity in gender, sexuality, and relationships.
My work is fully insured, and I practise under regular clinical supervision, in accordance with BACP and UKCP professional and ethical guidelines.
