Therapy with me

People often come to therapy when they're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected in some way. You might be carrying experiences from the past, or finding yourself impacted by something more recent. Therapy offers a steady space to slow things down and explore what's happening beneath the surface, at a pace that feels safe for you.

I work from the understanding that regulation comes before insight, and safety before change. I'm also aware that our experiences are shaped by who we are, including our identity, culture, and the contexts we've lived in.

Therapy isn't about finding quick answers or pushing for change. It's about being present with where you are, making sense of it together, and creating a space that feels steady and safe enough. The intention is to support a sense of safety and home within yourself, so that what you're experiencing can be met rather than pushed away.

Identity and inclusion

I work through an intersectional lens, recognising that our experiences are shaped by wider social, cultural, and systemic contexts. Identity, race, gender, class, sexuality, and belonging all influence how we experience ourselves and the world around us.

I offer an LGBTQ-inclusive and affirming space, and I am mindful of the courage it can take to bring your full self into therapy, particularly if you have felt unseen, misunderstood, or marginalised in other spaces.
